Entrance next to the tram stop and the pedestrian tunnel from Osiedle 1000-lecia residential quarter. Car parking is paid. The parking lot is located around 400 metres from the entrance, at the Pelicans (the sculpture near the intersection with General Jerzy Ziętek Promenade). On the left side of Main Avenue, you can find the enclosed dog run – the only place in the Silesia Park where dogs can run freely without leashes. Walking straight from Chorzowska street, you will pass “Kamienny Kasztel” restaurant (to the left) and after a couple hundred meters, you will reach the intersection with General Jerzy Ziętek Promenade, next to the characteristic Pelicans sculpture. Turn left and walk along the “Przystań” pond to the Silesian Stadium and the Scouts Centre with Skaut Hotel and a shooting range. Next to the stadium, you will find the station of “Elka” cableway. Turn right to get to “The Hat” Exhibition Centre. Walk further down General Jerzy Ziętek Promenade to the Rosarium and then to the main gate to the Silesian Zoo and the Silesian Theme Park. Going straight, you will cross the bridge between “Przystań” pond and the Regatta Canal. Next to “Marysin Dwór” restaurant, pick one of the 3 avenues at the fork. Take the arching one to the right behind the restaurant to reach “Fala” swimming complex. Go straight up to Stars Avenue which will take you to the Silesian Planetarium. After a couple hundred metres, you can turn right and take Hind Avenue to “Łania” restaurant and the open-air gallery of Silesian sculpture. Turn left and walk along the bank of “Przystań” pond to reach the Large Dancing Circle and further to Scout Avenue.
